Most people writing about revenue cycle have never opened a claims export. Most people writing about clinical documentation have never shipped a note into a chart. The reason this site exists is that the person writing it does both, on live systems, every week.
He is not a physician and does not present as one. Nothing here is clinical advice. What he brings is the operations side: the billing data, the integrations, the searches patients actually run, and the staff hours that get spent on work software should be doing.
The record
Why it is written this way
A vendor writes to close. An agency writes to rank. Someone who has to live with the result writes to be correct, because being wrong costs him a week of rework rather than a bounce.
That is why the comparison posts on this site name competitors and their prices, why the Dragon coverage says plainly who should keep using Dragon, and why the billing page states outright that it does not replace your biller. None of that helps a sales page. All of it helps someone deciding what to do on Monday.
Writes about
Revenue cycle and denial patterns. Clinical documentation and dictation. HIPAA compliance in practice rather than in theory. FHIR integration. Local search for medical practices.
